ABOUT
Belt and Road (B & R) Initiative is a global infrastructure development strategy adopted by the Chinese government in 2013 to invest in nearly 70 countries and international organizations. One of the major aims of B & R is to develop intellectual capacity and establish strong research and education cooperation among various countries and regions.
In this regard, this Belt and Road Webinar Series is being held with an aim to connect young scholars among B & R countries as well as to identify mutually-interested research topics. The theme is “Geotechnics, Energy and Environment”, on which related topics will be discussed and communicated. During the webinar series, well-known experts will be invited to give keynote and invited lectures on up-to-date research findings, hotspots and difficult issues in geotechnics, energy and environment, especially in the context of B & R countries.
