The “Intermediate Symposium” serves as an academic event between the main events of the International Society of Environmental Geotechnology (ISEG). The inaugural “Intermediate Symposium” took place in 1999. ISEG seeks to promote scientific cooperation among countries, organizations and individuals on geoenvironmental issues for global sustainable development. The theme of the 5th ISEG Intermediate Symposium is “Climate Change and Environmental Geotechnology.” It will be hosted by Nanjing University and held on 22-24, November, 2024. We will invite prominent scholars and experts to give keynote speeches, sharing their latest achievements in environmental geotechnology.
